Event Description

Warwick Student Cinema: Paris, Texas (35mm) - Late

Event from Warwick Student Cinema

Saturday 14 June 2025, 9.30PM - Saturday 14 June 2025, 11.30PM

L3

Come see Paris, Texas presented with 35mm Projection on the big screen in L3!

Wim Wenders’ ‘story about America’, Paris, Texas, tells the story of a man rekindling his relationships with his brother, son and wife after an extended disappearance, in a meditative tale about forgiveness, loss and the importance of where we come from. A masterclass in shot composition and colours in films, this is one of the most gorgeous-looking films I’ve seen. From the painting-like backdrops of Texas and the neon-stained nighttime road stops, to simple things like Jane’s pink dress or Travis’ red cap, I’m really excited to see how stunning this is going to look on our 35mm print. [Anant Nambiar]
