Warwick Student Cinema: No Other Land

Event from Warwick Student Cinema

Tuesday 10 June 2025, 7.30PM - Tuesday 10 June 2025, 9.30PM

L3

Come see No Other Land presented with stunning 4K Laser Projection on the big screen in L3!

Best Documentary Feature winner at the 2025 Oscars, No Other Land, is a documentary film detailing the Palestinian struggles following the ongoing conflict with Israel. With filming starting in 2019 and spanning four years, displaying the forced displacement of the West Bank community, No Other Land is a directorial debut for Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal, Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. With the current violence in Palestine, this screening is a very important and educational watch, especially with such a disappointing disconnect across the world right now. No Other Land has had a positive reception by critics, with Robert Daniels commenting: “In the hands of these filmmakers the camera becomes a weapon for truth and resistance, and a tool for conservation — recording some proof that their village existed.” [Holly Beaumont]
