Event Description

Warwick Student Cinema: The Long Walk

Event from Warwick Student Cinema

Monday 10 November 2025, 7.30PM - Monday 10 November 2025, 9.30PM

L3

Come see The Long Walk presented with stunning 4K Laser Projection on the big screen in L3!

If you share my love for long walks, this film might be for you - or at least, that’s what I initially thought. However, like many Stephen King adaptations, The Long Walk, directed by Francis Lawrence, offers a much bleaker vision. In a dystopian United States under an authoritarian regime, 100 young men take part in an annual walking contest where they must maintain a set pace or face execution. Only one can survive. If that’s not your idea of a pleasant stroll, then why not experience the grim spectacle of 100 men fighting for their lives from the comfort of Warwick Student Cinema? [Hashir]
