TravelSoc's First Ever Domestic Trip - Peak District
We'll cover stunning limestone dales and dramatic gritstone edges in the Peak District. You'll also get to enjoy some of the best traditional pubs and cozy spots in the country. If nothing else, it's a great break from campus life. It fits right into the weekend, so you won't have to worry about missing any lectures.
NB1: Ticket drop on 20/02/2026 at 12PM. If booking for multiple people, please separate fields with a semicolon (;), e.g. Name: Jane Doe; John Smith
NB2: We are leaving with a direct coach on campus, at 9AM sharp. We are scheduled to depart from YHA Harlington at 5PM (17:00).
Itinerary
Saturday: Arrival & Village Exploration
- •11:30 AM – Arrive at YHA Hartington Hall (Check-in is at 5:00 PM)
- •Afternoon – Walk to the local village and grab some lunch
- •5:00 PM – Free time to settle in and check into our accommodation
- •7:00 PM – Group dinner
Sunday: Dales & Departure
- •9:00 AM – Check out of the YHA and head out for a morning circular walk
- •1:00 PM – Arrive back for lunch
- •2:00 PM – Afternoon Dove walk to take in the limestone valleys
- •5:00 PM – Coach departs from YHA back to campus
